NOTES

Notes On Kindricks' Hill - This hill was excavated around the top by a Mr. M. B. Rogers, a school teacher[,] now(1968) living at 2809 Bonnie Road, Austin Texas. Found were some very old home made square nails, Indian burials, flint arrowheads. And a Mr. R. C. Green[,] now (1968) owner of The Sports Hub in Victoria found a French coin[,] silver with Napoleon's head, date - 1823[;] also found a gold wedding band ring [that] indicates a[n] early settler home was established there.

Old Hide and Tallow Plant - One hundred yards up stream from Ward Ranch house, was site of a[n] old hide & tallow plant. Some old burnt brick gate still can be found on edge of bluff.
