Dear Sir:

With reference the article in the Victoria Advocate concerning the physical condition of the plot in the City Park.

Indeed it does have important historical significance as evidenced by the attached copy of the wording approved by the Texas State Historical Survey committee for an 18" x 28" official historical marker.

The Victoria County Historical Survey Committee will have an appropriate dedication of this marker at the location you mention.

In the meantime please see that the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Victoria maintains the area and retains a fence.
